This is the finest old west saddle we make. It is a reproduction of a Collins Brothers half seat saddle, circa 1877. We make this from originals we have access to in various museums and private collections. Made from the finest vegetable tanned leather, this saddle is painstakingly hand crafted one a time. From the serpentine border tooling to the floral carving on the seat, no expense has been spared to bring you the look and feel of the old west. This saddle is then oiled with an antique finish that brings out the beauty of the leather and workmanship. Built to last a lifetime this saddle is truly at home on the trail or at your favorite old west cowboy event. We also offer matching bridle, tack and gun leather to complete this ensemble. This saddle is a reproduction of F.A. MeaneaÕs no.10, circa 1885. The original is a saddle that we were able to inspect at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles. With their assistance we are able to bring you this authentic recreation. Made from bark tanned leather it has a serpentine border tooling and a floral carved seat. The antique finish recreates that feel and look of the old west. Also available is a Bridle, tack, and gun leather completing you ensemble. Ask about our complete package deals and save!
